Knock out performance at Tanglewood

What a thrill to make my Tanglewood debut with the fantastic Young Artists Orchestra at BUTI today. The rehearsals leading up to today have been an energizing thrill and working with the great group of young musicians has been a joy. They capped it all off today with a sumptuous performance of Theofanidis’ “Rainbow Body” followed by a moving and beautiful performance of “Billy the Kid.” After the intermission, they came back and delivered a knock out Tchaik 5 that I won’t soon forgot. Bravo to all the great musicians in this wonderful orchestra. It was a perfect day at Ozawa concert hall. Great music, great musicians, and great friends!
